The Tartan Army took South Beach on Monday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

More than 8,000 Scottish soccer fans took over LoanDepot Park as the Marlins hosted the Rangers two days before Scotland faces Brazil in a crucial match in their final World Cup group stage match<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The traveling group of Scottish soccer fans traversing the United States for Scotland\u2019s World Cup matches has gone viral for the party they\u2019ve created everywhere they\u2019ve gone, which included a stop at Fenway Park for a Red Sox game.<\/p>\n

They recreated that atmosphere Monday night in Miami as the group went all out while at the Marlins\u2019 4-3 loss to the Rangers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Members of the Tartan Army marched through Little Havana before the game en route to the stadium and bagpipes performed on the field prior to the game.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The raucous Scottish fans<\/a> sang and chanted when Marlins starter Tyler Philips took the mound.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Video shared by BBC Sport Scotland outside LoanDepot Park showed fans praying and singing along to \u201cYes Sir, I can Boogie.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

In other videos, fans were loudly singing, \u201cI\u2019m Gonna Be (500 Miles).\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking with MLB.com<\/a>, Scotland fan Sean Downie called his first baseball game \u201cBrilliant. It\u2019s a bit different, but as you can see with the march and the atmosphere, it\u2019s starting to feel like a football match, or soccer as you call it,\u201d he told the outlet.<\/p>\n

Downie laughed when he said that he knew \u201cnothing\u201d about baseball.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI know pitching, batting and you catch it and outs, but that is about it,\u201d he said to MLB.com.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Monday\u2019s game had an attendance of 20,008, which was the eighth-best mark for the Marlins this season, and it was a similar warm reception that the traveling fans got when they took over Boston\u2019s Fenway Park.<\/p>\n
