Right-handers Casey Mize and Kyle Finnegan both flash ERAs below 3.00. Mize is a free agent after this season, and Finnegan is under team control through next season. In order to avoid a full rebuild after trading Skubal, Detroit should target young, controllable starters and near-MLB-ready hitters.
