That volume would top the existing mark of 550 gallons, set in the United Kingdom on July 6, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Construction of the vessel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox4news.com\/news\/texas-rangers-budweiser-aim-shatter-guinness-world-record-largest-glass-beer\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">began<\/a> Wednesday night at the ballpark\u2019s North Plaza, near Texas Live!, with crews finishing work Thursday morning ahead of the record attempt.<\/p>\n<p>Filling of the stein is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/press-release\/press-release-texas-rangers-budweiser-to-set-guinness-world-record-for-largest-glass-of-beer-on-fourth-of-july\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">scheduled<\/a> to start at noon on Saturday, with beer added from the bottom. The process is expected to wrap around 1:45 p.m. CDT, when an official adjudicator from Guinness World Records will be on site to verify the result.<\/p>\n<p>Rangers vs. Tigers<\/p>\n<p>The record attempt leads into the Rangers\u2019 July 4 game against the Detroit Tigers at 3:05 p.m. CDT. The team has tied the event to the country\u2019s 250th birthday and scheduled a series of holiday promotions at the ballpark.<\/p>\n<p>The first 10,000 fans will receive an America\u2019s 250th Birthday Rangers jersey, and handheld United States flags will be handed out to all fans entering the stadium.<\/p>\n<p>Arrive Early for the Party<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the stein-filling event, a party on the North Plaza will kick off at 11 a.m. with music curated by a live DJ, pop-up bars, and a booth to create custom baseball cards. Chuck Morgan, the Ranger Hall of Fame public address announcer, will emcee the event. Free Budweiser-branded merchandise, such as towels, cups, and button pins, will be handed out.<\/p>\n<p>Following the Guinness record verification, Budweiser products will be sold for $1.50 on the North Plaza from 1:50 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. CDT.
