On Friday night, the Atlanta Braves<\/a> will open up a series with the New York Mets<\/a> at Truist Park in Georgia.<\/p>\n

They are coming off an 11-5 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals<\/a> on Thursday (also at home).<\/p>\n

Ahead of their series with the Mets, the Braves announced the news that they had optioned James Karinchak<\/a> to Triple-A.<\/p>\n

The Braves wrote (via X):<\/a> \u201cThe #Braves today recalled RHP Anthony Molina<\/a> to Atlanta after optioning RHP James Karinchak to Triple-A Gwinnett following last night\u2019s game. The club also returned LHP Danny Young<\/a> from his rehabilitation assignment and reinstated him from the injured list, and designated RHP Ian Hamilton<\/a> for assignment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The #Braves<\/a> today recalled RHP Anthony Molina\u00a0to Atlanta after optioning RHP James Karinchak\u00a0to Triple-A Gwinnett following last night\u2019s game. The club also returned LHP Danny Young from his rehabilitation assignment and reinstated him from the injured list, and designated RHP<\/p>\n

Karinchak is in the middle of his first season with Atlanta.<\/p>\n

He has gone 0-0 with a 2.08 ERA in eight games.<\/p>\n
