{"id":748139,"date":"2026-07-10T15:00:28","date_gmt":"2026-07-10T15:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/748139\/"},"modified":"2026-07-10T15:00:28","modified_gmt":"2026-07-10T15:00:28","slug":"reds-guardians-families-to-play-charity-softball-game","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/748139\/","title":{"rendered":"Reds, Guardians families to play charity softball game"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/fox19-now\/id449886905\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/fox19-now\/id449886905\">Download the FREE FOX19 NOW news app for iPhone<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.raycom.wxix&amp;hl=en_US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.raycom.wxix&amp;hl=en_US\">Download the FREE FOX19 NOW news app for Android<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">CINCINNATI (WXIX) &#8211; The Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Guardians are hitting the diamond, but this time, it will be for charity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Reds and Guardians will play a softball game benefiting CASA and the Reds Community Fund.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/cincinnatiredscommunityfund.ticketspice.com\/reds-vs-guardians-wives-and-significant-others-charitable-softball-game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/cincinnatiredscommunityfund.ticketspice.com\/reds-vs-guardians-wives-and-significant-others-charitable-softball-game\">charity game<\/a> will be July 27 at 10 a.m. at the P&amp;G MLB Cincinnati Reds Youth Academy in Roselawn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The goal is to raise awareness and funds to support the following organizations:<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u2022 CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) and their mission of advocating for children in the foster care system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u2022 Reds Community Fund is dedicated to growing the game and improving the lives of underserved youth across Reds Country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cI\u2019m so excited to be part of the upcoming charity softball game and support CASA\u2019s and the Reds Community Fund\u2019s incredible missions,\u201d said Jordyn Pag\u00e1n, wife of Cincinnati Reds pitcher Emilio Pag\u00e1n. \u201cIt\u2019s a great opportunity for our Reds Wives to bring our community together, raise awareness for children and families who need a voice, and make a meaningful impact.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Last year, through a series of collaborative initiatives (including a charity softball game in Cleveland) the families of the Reds and<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Guardians raised a combined $18,500.
