For 12 players from the University of Arkansas, that dream came true.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The parade of Diamond Hogs included three first-round picks. Overall, seven Razorbacks were chosen within the first 10 rounds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arkansas\u2019s 12 draft picks were:<\/p>\n<p>Catcher Ryder Helfrick (Arizona Diamondbacks, first round, 15th overall)<\/p>\n<p>Right-handed pitcher Carson Wiggins (New York Mets, first round, 27th overall)<\/p>\n<p>Left-handed pitcher Hunter Dietz (New York Yankees, first round \u2013 competitive balance pick, 35th overall)<\/p>\n<p>Right-handed pitcher Gabe Gaeckle (Sacramento A\u2019s, second round \u2013 competitive balance pick, 73rd overall)<\/p>\n<p>Shortstop Cam Kozeal (Miami Marlins, third round, 87th overall)<\/p>\n<p>Left-handed pitcher Ethan McElvain (Kansas City Royals, fifth round, 151st overall)<\/p>\n<p>Outfielder Damian Ruiz (Cincinnati Reds, ninth round, 272nd overall)<\/p>\n<p>Outfielder Kuhio Aloy (New York Mets, 11th round, 330th overall)<\/p>\n<p>Left-handed pitcher Colin Fisher (San Francisco Giants, 13th round, 388th overall)<\/p>\n<p>Right-handed pitcher Tate McGuire (Los Angeles Angels, 14th round, 409th overall)<\/p>\n<p>Right-handed pitcher Cooper Dossett (New York Mets, 17th round, 510th overall)<\/p>\n<p>Left-handed pitcher Parker Coil (Cleveland Guardians, 20th round, 603rd overall)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 12 Razorbacks selected in a single draft are record for the program and speak to the depth of talent on the team. Only the University of Georgia, with 13, had more players drafted this year. Unfortunately for Arkansas, their wealth of baseball talent this year did not culminate in a trip to the College World Series, as, unlike Georgia, Arkansas failed to advance out of the regional round of the postseason tournament.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One other fun note: Brannon Westmoreland, right-handed pitcher for the Little Rock Trojans, was drafted in the 14th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Little Rock <a href=\"https:\/\/arktimes.com\/arkansas-blog\/2026\/06\/01\/little-rock-baseball-advances-to-ncaa-super-regionals-for-the-first-time-in-program-history\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">advanced to the NCAA Super Regional round<\/a> for the first time this season, setting a program record for wins along the way.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMatt Campbell is a reporter and a real swell guy.
