The Baltimore Orioles’ 2025 season has been a lot different compared to what we saw from them last season.<\/p>\n

In 2024, they were looking like one of the best teams in baseball and were just three games behind the New York Yankees in the AL East.<\/p>\n

Now in 2025, Baltimore has struggled immensely, sitting in last place in their division with a 22-36 record.<\/p>\n

With a pitching rotation that’s statistically one of the worst in baseball, it seems that they are starting to find the groove of things, winning six of their last eight.<\/p>\n

Injuries have been a common theme for the Orioles, and key players like centerfielder Cedric Mullins and Ryan Mountcastle have been the recent additions to the injured list.<\/p>\n

As the Orioles look to continue getting back on the winning track, they will travel to Seattle to take on the Mariners in a three-game series that starts on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

As the team travels to Seattle, they will bring along a huge addition that hasn’t seen much action in 2025.<\/p>\n

Outfielder Colton Cowser hasn’t seen the field since the Orioles’ season-opening series against the Toronto Blue Jays.<\/p>\n

He slid head-first into first base in the March 30 game and ended up fracturing his thumb.<\/p>\n

After missing the last 54 games, Baltimore reinstated the 25-year-old from the injured list on Monday.<\/p>\n

Cowser’s played in 183 total games for the Orioles since debuting in 2023 and has a career batting average of .226, an on-base percentage of .314, and an OPS of .725 while hitting 25 home runs, 74 RBIs, and stealing 10 bases.<\/p>\n

After a 2024 season that saw Cowser finish second in AL Rookie of the Year honors \u2013 losing to Yankees starting pitcher Luis Gil \u2013 he will look to continue his dominance in the MLB.<\/p>\n

He’s expected to join the Orioles on Tuesday, hoping to help spark a turnaround to Baltimore’s season and push into playoff contention by October.<\/p>\n
