Fueled by 6 1\/3 hitless innings from starting pitcher <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/g\/ginnjt01.shtml\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">J.T. Ginn<\/a>, the Athletics&#8217; offense woke up in a big way.<\/p>\n<p>The A&#8217;s went on to win 15-1 and pulled off a feat that MLB&#8217;s Sarah Lang revealed hasn&#8217;t occurred since 1895.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The A\u2019s allowed 23 runs yesterday<br \/>They scored 15 today<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s the most runs allowed in the game prior to scoring 15+ since the 1895 Phillies lost 24-6 and then won 15-2 in consecutive games May 20-21<\/p>\n<p>h\/t <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EliasSports?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow\">@EliasSports<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/n3EJqM0f8o\" rel=\"nofollow\">https:\/\/t.co\/n3EJqM0f8o<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Sarah Langs (@SlangsOnSports) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SlangsOnSports\/status\/2078712506474701308?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow\">July 19, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/w\/wilsoja05.shtml\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jacob Wilson<\/a> got the party started with a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NBCSAthletics\/status\/2078665812219752750?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">solo shot in the first inning<\/a> and finished the contest having gone 3-for-6 with two RBI.
