The Phillies entered Toronto on the heels of a disappointing homestand, losing 4 of 6 games, but quickly flipped the script with a convincing win Tuesday night. That victory marked their seventh in the last 8 road games, improving their road record to 18-11.<\/p>\n

While the Blue Jays had won 4 straight at home prior to this series, those wins came against the struggling A\u2019s. The Phillies are a much deeper and more balanced team, both at the plate and on the mound. They\u2019re batting .254 on the road, tied for fourth-best in MLB, and now turn to top prospect Abel, who has impressed at Triple-A and in his MLB debut.<\/p>\n

Berr\u00edos faces a tough task, especially against a Phillies lineup that\u2019s homered off him before\u2014Bryce Harper, Nick Castellanos, and Bryson Stott have all taken him deep. With momentum on their side and a deeper roster, Philadelphia is well-positioned to take Wednesday\u2019s matchup as well.<\/p>\n
