Naamans Little League will play for a spot in the Little League World Series on Friday after defeating Washington, D.C. 7-2 in a regional semifinal Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n
The Delaware champions took a 1-0 lead in the third inning, as they took advantage of three walks, with\u00a0Will Santora scoring during a rundown elsewhere on the base-paths.<\/p>\n
The floodgates opened in the 5th inning, with a 5-run inning.<\/p>\n
Taj Amobi walked, and then scored on\u00a0Charles Puit’s double to centerfield.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Brady Winkelspecht then drove Puit in with an RBI single, and he scored on\u00a0Brian Miller’s RBI hit.<\/p>\n
Jason Pontari scored on a wild pitch, while\u00a0John Jenney\u00a0drew a bases-loaded walk to end the scoring.<\/p>\n
Puit then hit an RBI single in the next inning to put Delaware up 7-0.<\/p>\n
