SEATTLE – Kade Anderson made his major league debut Saturday night, and the Mariners\u2019 top pitching prospect delivered a solid performance.<\/p>\n
The 22-year-old left-hander allowed three earned runs over 5 2\/3 innings against the Chicago Cubs while striking out five. He left to a standing ovation from more than 45,000 fans at T-Mobile Park.<\/p>\n
The Mariners then completed the comeback in dramatic fashion.<\/p>\n
Randy Arozarena launched a two-run walk-off homer in the ninth inning, giving Seattle a 5-4 win. Arozarena finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs and became just the seventh player in MLB history to hit both a leadoff homer and a walk-off homer in the same game.<\/p>\n
The Mariners are now just three games back in the division, and two in the wild card race for that final remaining spot in the American League.<\/p>\n
