Shohei Ohtani<\/a> missed his fourth straight game Sunday night for the Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a>, sitting out the series finale against Washington<\/a>with left knee and right biceps discomfort.<\/p>\n

Speaking before the game, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Ohtani’s workout Saturday went well and he’s trending toward returning to the L.A. lineup Monday against the Cincinnati Reds<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“If nothing else changes, or it continues to trend, I see him in there tomorrow,” Roberts told reporters.<\/p>\n

Also, the Dodgers placed Dalton Rushing<\/a> on the injured list with right elbow discomfort, retroactive to Sept. 5. Roberts said Rushing could return this season but won’t catch again.<\/p>\n

The team recalled Eliezer Alfonzo<\/a> in the corresponding roster move.<\/p>\n
