It was later corrected, but at 459 feet, it is still the longest of his career. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/GettyImages-2289809115-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Cal Raleigh #29 of the Seattle Mariners looks on during the ninth inning against the Tampa Bay Rays at T-Mobile Park.\" class=\"wp-image-2604541\" \/>Photo by Jack Compton\/Getty ImagesMLB fans are in awe of Cal Raleigh\u2019s hit but disappointed in him and the Seattle Mariners<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, Cal Raleigh powered Seattle to a 90-72 season with 60 home runs and 125 RBIs, earning All-Star honours and finishing second in AL MVP voting.<\/p>\n<p>In 2026, Raleigh\u2019s production has fallen to a quite poor .184 average with 23 homers and 68 RBIs, while the Mariners sit at 72-83, all but guaranteed to miss the playoffs.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s what fans pointed to even as they were admiring the baseball star\u2019s incredible home run hit. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, about time he\u2019s started back hitting home runs,\u201d one fan said, their frustration clear. \u201cNice to see Cal is back, if only EVERYONE ELSE WAS BACK TOO,\u201d another fan added. <\/p>\n<p>MORE SEATTLE MARINERS STORIES<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat is a meaningless HR, they have actually lost to the Rockies,\u201d a third fan said. \u201cCal Raleigh, finally but too late to mean much for Seattle\u2019s season,\u201d a fourth fan claimed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf only we had this Cal earlier in the season \u2013 so many \u2018what ifs\u2019,\u201d one Mariners fan lamented. \u201cIt has been a terrible season, but Cal Raleigh\u2019s resurgence is a wonderful thing,\u201d a sixth fan wrote.<\/p>\n<p>It is bittersweet to see Raleigh finally playing at the highest level when the team\u2019s season is all but over.
