Gilbert\u2019s four runs batted in all came on a seventh inning grand slam. Just about everyone had a good night at the plate, including Luke Ritter, who went 4-for-4 with five runs scored. Brandon Sproat earned his third win of the season with six scoreless innings in which he struck out four batters. He walked off the field under his own power, but did have to leave the game. Manaea was roughed up for four runs (three of them earned) in 1 2\u20443 innings of work in the Cyclones\u2019 defeat at the hands of the Blue Rocks, but the important thing is that Manaea is throwing a baseball in an actual game.
