The Toronto Blue Jays have been unable to shake the injuries this season as Nathan Lukes is the latest outfielder to be placed on the injured list.<\/p>\n

The Blue Jays announced yesterday that they called up Will Robertson from Triple-A to replace Lukes who was scratched from the lineup due to a neck injury that he has been dealing with since the series against the Minnesota Twins.<\/p>\n
Despite it originally sounding like the problems was nothing too serious, the Blue Jays have now placed Lukes on 7 day IL due to concussion symptoms which resulted in the Blue Jays selecting Will Robertson’s contract.<\/p>\n

The Toronto Blue Jays placed outfielder Nathan Lukes on the seven-day injured list on Wednesday and selected the contract of rookie outfielder Will Robertson from Triple-A Buffalo.<\/p>\n
Lukes’ move was retroactive to Tuesday. He apparently was hurt in the sixth inning of Sunday’s 6-3 loss to the Minnesota Twins when he collided with Blue Jays second baseman Ernie Clement.<\/p>\n
Lukes started to feel concussion symptoms due to that collision, according to the team, which doesn’t expect him to need more than seven days to recover. #MLB<\/p>\n
