MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The Myrtle Beach Pelicans held a meet-the-team event Wednesday where fans were allowed to get to know the Opening Day squad.
“It’s an awesome opportunity not only for our season ticket holders, our members, to come out and get their first opportunity to say hello to the team, but the general public as well,” Pelicans General Manager Kristin Call said.
RipTydz Oceanfront Grille & Rooftop Bar hosted the event overlooking the ocean.

The event was open to the public and fans brought personal items to be autographed by team members.
“We love being in a setting like this and its a great way to also welcome the team to Myrtle Beach,” Call added.
The Pelicans’ 2025 season will begin on the road in Charleston on April 4. The home opener is set for April 8 against the Carolina Mudcats.
