A reloaded Duke basketball roster is in place ahead of the 2025-26 season. The Blue Devils released their roster and jersey numbers on Tuesday, June 17, giving fans an early chance to get familiar with the newcomers.
These are uniform numbers for each of the 13 players confirmed to be a part of head coach Jon Scheyer’s fourth squad. Duke’s roster includes five freshmen, three sophomores, two juniors, two seniors and a graduate. There are two additions via the transfer portal and six returners.Â
An NCAA rule change ahead of the 2023-24 season allowed players to wear any number between 0-99. Previously, numbers that began with a 6, 7, 8 or 9 were prohibited.Â
In numerical order, here’s a look at 13 known jersey numbers for the players on the 2025-26 Duke basketball roster:Â
Caleb Foster – 1
A junior guard for the Blue Devils, Foster wore No. 1 in each of his first two seasons. The last Duke player to wear No. 1 was Dereck Lively II in Scheyer’s debut season as head coach.Â

Cayden Boozer – 2
A freshman point guard from Florida, Boozer will follow in Cooper Flagg’s footsteps as the next Blue Devil to wear a No. 2 jersey.Â

Isaiah Evans – 3
A sharpshooter as a freshman, Evans isn’t switching things up in his sophomore season.Â

Sebastian Wilkins – 5
A freshman forward from Massachusetts, Wilkins will take Tyrese Proctor’s number. It’s a number that has been worn by a crowd of Duke greats.Â

Maliq Brown – 6Â
A junior forward, Brown wore No. 1 in his first two seasons at Syracuse before becoming the first Blue Devil to rock No. 6 last season.Â
Other notable players to wear No. 6 at Duke: Because of the NCAA rule change, Brown is the only Blue Devil to have worn No. 6.
Dame Sarr – 7
An Italian freshman guard, Sarr will be the second Duke player to wear No. 7.Â
Other notable players to wear No. 7 at Duke: Because of the NCAA rule change, Kon Knueppel II is the only other Blue Devil to wear No. 7.
Darren Harris – 8
Harris will stick with No. 8 entering his sophomore season with the Blue Devils.Â

Cameron Boozer – 12
A freshman forward expected to be Duke’s top player this season, Boozer’s jersey might be the most popular look for Blue Devil fans this year.Â

Cameron Sheffield – 13Â
A graduate transfer who started his career at Rice before joining the Blue Devils last season, Sheffield will wear No. 13 in his final run at Duke.

Nikolas Khamenia – 14Â
A freshman forward from California, Khamenia will be another popular choice for a new jersey this season. He’ll be following Sion James by wearing No. 14.Â

Iffy Ufochukwu – 15Â
A Rice transfer who joins Duke as a junior, Ufochukwu will wear No. 15. Ryan Young was the last Blue Devil to wear that jersey.

Jack Scott – 20Â
A Princeton transfer who arrives in Durham as a senior, Scott will wear No. 20.Â

Patrick Ngongba II – 21
A sophomore center for the Blue Devils, Ngongba will stick with No. 21 this season.
