Bledsoe was taken into custody around 2:30 AM local time following an investigation that led authorities to a highway-side gas station where they found the two-time All-Defensive team member with a woman suffering “bruising and swelling to her face.”
Police say the woman told them Bledsoe hit her and that the 35-year-old Alabama native “refused to provide a statement” on what transpired before placing him in handcuffs and taking him to jail.
Bledsoe is reportedly faced with felony domestic violence for his alleged actions and was held on $50,000 bail.
Unfortunately this marks the second time the former All-Rookie honoree has been cited for this kind of behavior since life in professional basketball.

Back in 2022, he was also arrested on a misdemeanor domestic charge, however it was dropped due to “inconsistent statements about whether there was a physical altercation” by the alleged victim.

In 12 seasons in the Association, Bledsoe suited up for the Clippers, Suns, Bucks and Pelicans. He was also a member of John Calipari‘s 2009-10 Kentucky Wildcats team led by John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins that had eight eventual NBA players on it.
