The Portland Trail Blazers were just a tick away from a home victory Wednesday night, but the New York Knicks swiped it away at the last moment for a 114-113 overtime win.

The teams traded the lead 42 times over the course of the game with Deni Avdija rebounding his own miss and converting a three-point play to put Portland up two with 0:03 on the clock.

The Knicks got off the final shot when Mikal Bridges inbounded the ball from the sideline, got it right back and launched an off-balance 3 from the top of the arc. Blazers center Donovan Clingan lunged at him, but the shot got off cleanly and ripped the net as time expired.

Portland forced overtime when Scoot Henderson sank a pair of free throws in the final seconds of regulation.

Bridges led the Knicks with 33 points, while OG Anunoby added 23.

Henderson led the Blazers with 30 points, while Avdija added 27.

Portland (28-39) is back in action at home Sunday against Toronto.
