On Thursday, Dallas showed honor to a former franchise legend. Dirk Nowitzki is one of the names that comes to mind immediately when talking about the Mavericks.

Nowitzki’s birthday has arrived and the team sent out a message to the legendary forward on social media.

Even though he has been retired since the 2018-19 season, Nowitzki is still a fan favorite. He has already received a lot of well wishes and messages from Dallas fans.

Nowitzki will receive a lot of love from the Mavericks’ fan base throughout the day.

During his career, Nowitzki played all 1,522 games with Dallas. He finished with career averages of 20.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists, while shooting 47.1% from the floor and 38% from 3-point distance.
