How long is Jacque Vaughn’s contract with Kansas basketball?

Vaughn arrived at KU, his alma mater, with head coaching experience in the NBA for both the Orlando Magic and the Brooklyn Nets. He’s also been an assistant in the NBA after a lengthy stint as a player in the league. But how long is he going to coach with the Jayhawks?

Vaughn, one of the program’s all-time greats, signed a contract with a term of two years. That will take him through the 2026-27 season. Both are guaranteed years.

How much money will Jacque Vaughn make with Kansas basketball?

Each year of Vaughn’s contract his base salary is set for $360,000. However, he has the opportunity to earn incentives. Those incentives depend on how well Kansas performs.

What incentives could Jacque Vaughn earn with Kansas basketball?

The most lucrative incentive Vaughn can earn is $50,000 for winning a national championship. Behind that, there are a collective of $25,000 incentives. Those would be winning a Big 12 Conference regular-season title, a Big 12 tournament championship, making the NCAA tournament, making a Sweet 16 and making a Final Four.
