On June 20, the Miami Heat highlighted two of the most significant championships in the franchise history. The Heat team published pictures of their 2006 and 2013 victories in a tweet made through the official team account. They both were on the same calendar date, seven years apart.

The initial picture depicted the team in 2006, which celebrated the victory over Dallas Mavericks. The second one was the 2013 team a few moments after beating the San Antonio Spurs in Game 7. The post simply read, “This date in HEAT history… ‘nuff said” with two trophy emojis.
There were no quotes but the tone was very indicative of pride in what the franchise has accomplished. The post got a great response, having more than 130,000 views within 24 hours.
Fans responded quickly. One asked for the team to “Get us KD,” tagging Kevin Durant. Another tweeted, “Been so long forgot how it feels.” Some called for changes, like “#MickyArisonOut” and “#FirePatRiley.” Many focused on wanting a return to that level of success, including “Give me these vibes again DAMN” and “We are so far away.”
A separate tweet by Ballislife.com added more context to the 2013 moment. It also featured the game 7 play of LeBron James against Tim Duncan and the Spurs, and his quote, “I am not even supposed to be here… I’m blessed.”

Heat has not been able to win a title since 2013. No follow-up was posted and the tweet did not mention any current player or plans. Nevertheless, the point was delivered. Heat relied on one date to emphasize its greatest moments, with the rest being left to the interpretation of fans.
