The Portland Trail Blazers have traded guard Anfernee Simons to Boston for the Celtics’ Jrue Holiday, ESPN reported late Monday night.

The deal also includes Boston getting the Blazers’ two second-round draft picks.

Holiday, a 6-foot-four guard, averaged 11 points per game this year for the Celtics. Simons pulled down an average of 19 for the Blazers.

Simons, 26, has played five seasons for the Blazers, starting 97 out of 273 games.

Holiday, 35, was honored as a 2024 All-Defense Second Team member and has been with the Celtics since the 2023-2024 season.

Wednesday is the NBA Draft. Blazers hold the 11the pick in the NBA Draft.

The Blazers did not make any moves that the trade deadline this year.
