Giannis Antetokounmpo has been linked to multiple teams after the Milwaukee Bucks’ upsetting first-round exit.
After winning the 2021 NBA Championship, the Milwaukee Bucks have hit a slump in the postseason.
Although they reached the 2022 Eastern Conference Semifinals, that was the last time when the Bucks managed to get past the first-round hurdle.
Following their most recent opening-round exit, the Bucks have now been eliminated in the first round for three straight seasons. This has led to many to question what’s next for their cornerstone superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

At 30 years old, Antetokounmpo is still in the middle of his prime. Moreover, he is one of the most loyal players in the NBA right now.
However, it goes without saying that the Bucks front office has consistently failed to build a championship-caliber roster around the Greek Freak. With the team’s season over, Giannis recently posted an image of himself on Instagram.
While Antetokounmpo didn’t mention anything about his Bucks future in the IG post, fans believe this was a subtle hint regarding his future plans.
“He is gone,” a fan wrote in panic. While another added: “You’re still the best player in the world, get rid of Doc Rivers though.”
“Give the Mil one more chance Giannis,” a fan begged.
“Yeah, he’s outta there,” one fan concluded.
“Stay away from Brooklyn,” a fan advised.
One fan reassured the fanbase, stating: “Giannis is staying, don’t worry.”
Most fans believed it was a cryptic hint from the 2x NBA MVP about potentially leaving Milwaukee, but there were some fans who are certain the IG post meant otherwise.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is gaining interest from around the league
Despite the Bucks consistently failing to dominate in the postseason, it has hardly been due to Antetokounmpo’s fault.
If anything, the Greek Freak is a better player than he was during the Bucks’ 2021 championship run. But in case, Antetokounmpo wants to leave the team, there will be a plethora of options for him.
The New Orleans Pelicans are reportedly ready to part ways with Zion Williamson to potentially acquire Antetokounmpo. On the other hand, the Brooklyn Nets have shown constant interest in him as well.
Even the Miami Heat are reportedly interested in acquiring the 30-year-old’s service. All things considered, fans should brace for a brutal bidding war if Giannis demands a trade this offseason.
