MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WSAW) – Bucks point guard Damian Lillard is now out for the season after suffering an Achilles tendon tear in game four of the Bucks’ first-round series against the Pacers. The Bucks confirmed the injury on Monday, saying that Lillard will now undergo surgery.

Lillard went down with the injury in the first quarter of Sunday’s 129-103 loss to Indiana. The injury came just three games after Lillard returned to the court after sitting more than a month with blood clots in his calf. Lillard averaged 24.9 points per game and 7.1 assists this season for Milwaukee.
The Bucks trail the series with Indiana 3-1. They look to keep their series alive in Indiana on Tuesday with game five. The game tips at 5:00 p.m.
