BATON ROUGE, La. – Louisiana Secretary of State Nancy Landry has declared Wednesday LSU Baseball Day in honor of the Tigers’ National Championship win over Coastal Carolina. Fans are encouraged to wear purple and gold to celebrate the team’s win.
After a whirlwind weekend that ended with the Tigers’ eighth national baseball title, LSU invited fans to welcome the team home this week. The Tigers touched down in Baton Rouge Monday afternoon and a National Championship Celebration will be held in Alex Box Stadium Wednesday evening.
