The Indiana Fever is in the middle of a slight reshuffle.
Veteran guard, DeWanna Bonner, has quit the franchise as she has no desire to play another game for the team.

The 37-year-old only joined the Fever in February, on a one-year deal, with her arrival adding some much-needed experience to a young core.
Bonner, who’s won two WNBA championships, came to Indiana expecting to be a starter.
And she was just that for the first three games of the 2025 season before being benched in favor of Lexie Hull.
Now she’s missed five consecutive games, including the Fever’s 94-86 win over the Seattle Storm on Tuesday.
She last played for the team on June 10 in a loss to Atlanta, with the team citing personal reasons as the reason for her absence.
“I want to sincerely thank the Indiana Fever for the opportunity to be part of the Fever franchise. Despite our shared goals and excitement heading into the season, I felt the fit did not work out and I appreciate the organization’s willingness to grant my request to move on, particularly at this point in my career,” Bonner wrote after being waived.
“I wish the Fever great success as they continue to build around this dynamic group of young players.
The news hasn’t gone down well with the Fever faithful online, including Caitlin Clark superfan Dave Portnoy.
“Great career. She was beyond useless for Fever. Wish her best of luck,” Portnoy brutally wrote on X.
As per FOS, Bonner wants to join the Phoenix Mercury or Atlanta Dream — she won both her championships at the former in 2009 and 2011.

Fever head coach Stephanie White was asked about Bonner in Seattle but remained tight-lipped.
“I haven’t had a lot of conversations recently,” White said.
“You know, really been focused on the group that we have right here, and what we need to do to position ourselves to win.”
Bonner’s contract is $200,000 for this season, but is unprotected, meaning the Fever could waive her for little financial penalty.
She’s averaged 7.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists this season.
The Fever will be relieved that amid these intense rumours they managed to break their mini-slump with that win over the Storm.

Clark’s team lost back-to-back games before their recent victory, which puts them seventh in the standings.
Although one person who is yet to come out of a slump is Clark, who put up another disappointing performance in Seattle.
Clark went 0-for-6 from three-point line and 3-for-13 from the field overall, with a game-high eight turnovers, making this comfortably her worst performance of the season.
According to @trendyhoopstars on X, Clark has never played a basketball game (collegiately or professionally) when she posted more turnovers than points.
It’s just the third game in her career where she hasn’t hit at least one 3-pointer.
Clark is tied for the league lead in assists per game (8.9), while her 5.6 turnovers per game leads the league.
In the Fever’s previous two games, against the Las Vegas Aces and Golden State Valkyries, she put up 11 points apiece.
However, teammate Hull isn’t too concerned about the guard’s shooting slump.
“She’ll be fine. We’re not worried about it. She’s a great shooter, she’s a great player. This happens to every great player. She’ll be fine,” she said.
Clark will have the opportunity to bounce back when Indiana welcome the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday in what is their first meeting of the season.
