Denver Nuggets game summary
Nikola Jokic once again proved why he’s the heart of the team. In a dominant 42-minute performance, the reigning MVP dropped 42 points on 15-of-29 shooting. He also added 22 rebounds and 6 assists. Jokic hit two of his six three-point attempts and made 10 of 13 from the free throw line.
Aaron Gordon also delivered a strong showing, finishing with 22 points and 14 rebounds in just over 39 minutes. He shot 46.7% from the field and was perfect at the free-throw line, going 5-for-5. His presence on the glass was key, especially on the offensive end, where he grabbed seven boards. Gordon also knocked down three of his six shots from beyond the arc.
Christian Braun stepped up with a quiet but effective 11 points and 13 rebounds. He was steady, shooting 50% from the field and adding three assists.
