The Brooklyn Nets have been preparing for the 2025 NBA Draft for a long time now and with the franchise having four first-round picks, plenty of work has to be done. While time will tell how lucky Brooklyn will get in the NBA Draft Lottery and whether they will use all of their picks, the organization also wanted to give their fans a glimpse into what Draft preparation looks like.
“This year is critical for us, I can’t say it any other way. To get this draft right and to really nail it, I’m really excited about that,” Nets assistant general manager BJ Johnson said during the teaser for Brooklyn’s “SCOUT” docuseries. This is a unique project for the Nets to embark on given that there will be plenty of content for the docuseries because of how many chances the team will have to draft.
“Introducing SCOUT, a nine-part documentary series offering an inside look at the Brooklyn Nets scouting process as the team prepares for the 2025 NBA Draft,” the Nets’ post on X explained for what the docuseries is going to be about. The first episode of the docuseries will premier on Tuesday, May 6 at 12:00 EST and Nets fans will be able to see general manager Sean Marks and company in action behind the scenes.
