DETROIT. (WILX) – Former Michigan guard Caris LeVert is set to return to the state of Michigan after agreeing to a two-year deal worth $29 million with the Pistons, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
LeVert played at Michigan from 2012 to 2016 and was drafted 20th overall by the Pacers in the 2016 NBA Draft. His draft rights were later drafted to Brooklyn.
The 30-year-old spent part of last season with Cleveland before finishing the year with the Hawks. LeVert averaged 12.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in a combined 64 games between the two teams.
