Welcome to NBA draft 2025 results and picks for the first round Wednesday, June 25, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The draft is split over two nights for the second consecutive year.

There were 30 picks in our Round 1 draft tracker, with the Brooklyn Nets being the most prolific team picking four players. There were also a handful of trades during the draft.

Round 2, with picks Nos. 31-59, begins Thursday, June 26, at 8 p.m. (ESPN). Then, NBA free agency begins Monday, June 30, at 6 p.m.

This is a life-changing event for players, with each slated to make more than $14 million over their four-year rookie contracts (if each of the final two option years get picked up). Cooper Flagg, the No. 1 pick, is set to earn $13.8 million in Year 1 of a projected four-year, $62.7 million contract.

The draft board was a wild one: Only one team, the Boston Celtics at No. 28, retained their original pick outside the top 12 in the first round — the other 17 picks from Nos. 13-30 were traded to another team.

Here is the pick tracker for the 2025 first round.
