MEMPHIS, Tenn. — After dropping the first two matchups in historic fashion, the Memphis Grizzlies had the Oklahoma City Thunder on the ropes in Game 3 of their first-round matchup in the NBA playoffs. But the Thunder came storming back for a win, and now the Grizzlies must win on Saturday in order to avoid being swept out of the playoffs.
The game tips off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern on TNT.

Memphis lost the first two games in the series by a combined 70 points as the Thunder showed off exactly why they had the NBA’s best record and earned the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.
After taking it easy in the Game 1 win, MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has scored 27 and 31 points respectively in the past two games.
Memphis led by 26 at halftime and by as many as 29 on the night in Game 3, but Grizzlies star Ja Morant suffered a hip injury, and the top-ranked Thunder defense had a comeback brewing early in the second half.
The Grizzlies scored 40 points in the first quarter and and 37 in the second quarter, but were held to just 31 points total in the second half as Oklahoma City pulled out a 114-108 comeback win.
No team in NBA history has ever come back and won a playoff series after trailing 3-0, but if the Grizzlies want to avoid a sweep, they have no choice but to win Saturday at home.
