Emanuel Miller is returning to the Chicago Bulls on a two-way contract, the team announced Tuesday.
Miller joined the Bulls midway through the 2024-25 season and played mostly for the Windy City Bulls. The forward averaged 16.5 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 25 games for the team’s G League affiliate.
He made his NBA debut March 4 and played six games with the Bulls over the final stretch of the season, tallying 10 points and eight rebounds in 25 minutes.
Teams can carry up to three players on two-way contracts, which allow players to split time between the G League and NBA. Only players with three or fewer years of NBA service are eligible for the deals, which allow for developing young talent. Two-way deals don’t count against the salary cap.
Free agency opened Monday, and the Bulls so far have reached agreements to trade Lonzo Ball to the Cleveland Cavaliers for forward Isaac Okoro and re-sign point guard Tre Jones to a three-year deal. They also drafted forwards Noa Essengue and Lachlan Olbrich last week.
