IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – Former Iowa Hawkeye Luka Garza has signed a 2-year, $5.5 million deal with the Boston Celtics, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Garza has spent the last three seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves after playing for the Detroit Pistons his rookie year.
The former Iowa star appeared in 39 games for the Timberwolves last season, averaging 3.5 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.
