Former Nebraska basketball forward Juwan Gary will play with the Los Angeles Clippers‘ summer league team. This was announced by HuskerOnline’s Robin Washut earlier this week.
Gary averaged 14.4 points per game and 5.1 rebounds per game for Nebraska last season. He started in all 34 games for Nebraska and was able to finish off what was a stellar Huskers career. All told, he recorded 12.5 points to go along with 5.8 rebounds in three seasons at Nebraska.

Now, he is getting a chance to show his talents at an NBA level, with Summer League action officially beginning on Saturday.
Gary’s game could translate well to the NBA. His solid defensive skills, as well as his ability to hit the mid-range jumper, could prove valuable to a team looking for additional scoring. His physicality and ability to finish around the rim could also help teams fortify their production inside the paint.
