Indiana men’s basketball great Eric Gordon is re-signing with the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers on a one-year deal, per the team:

Gordon is entering his 18th season at the professional level after averaging 6.8 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists while shooting 40.9% from 3-point range in 19.7 minutes per game with the Sixers during the 2024-25 season. He originally signed with the club last offseason.

He’s spent time with the Los Angeles Clippers, New Orleans Pelicans, Houston Rockets and Phoenix Suns over the past 17 seasons. His 2,084 career 3s rank in at 10th among currently active players in the NBA.

Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana and a star at North Central High School, Gordon spent a single season with the Hoosiers in 2007-08, becoming the first freshman in program history to average over 20 points per game while setting Indiana’s and the Big Ten’s freshman scoring records. He averaged 20.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists while shooting 33.7% from 3-point range in 34.7 minutes per game.
