The OKC Thunder signed 2025 NBA Draft picks Thomas Sorber and Brooks Barnhizer on Thursday.
OKC signed Sorber to a multi-year contract, and it signed Barnhizer to a two-way contract. The terms of both agreements were not released.
OKC selected Sorber with the No. 15 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. The 6-foot-10 big man averaged 14.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and two blocks last season as a freshman at Georgetown.
OKC then selected Barnhizer with the No. 44 overall pick in the draft. The 6-6 forward averaged 17.1 points, 8.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists last season as a senior at Northwestern.
Sorber will not play in NBA Summer League, which begins Saturday for OKC in Salt Lake City. He underwent surgery for a turf toe injury he suffered on Feb. 15. Barnhizer also suffered a foot injury last season, but he said during his introductory press conference that he’s “ready to be a part of” Summer League.
