OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -Fedor Zugic is finally free.
The NCAA sent official written confirmation to Creighton that the Montenegro native had his eligibility reinstated. He will have two years of eligibility remaining, beginning with the 2025-26 season.
Zugic played six seasons of professional basketball overseas. He became the youngest person to play in a EuroLeague game when he debuted for Buducnost at the age of 15.
The 21-year-old guard was originally cleared in December of 2024. Zugic played 22 games for the Bluejays last season, averaging 4.5 points on 48% shooting, including 40% from three-point range.
“We are pleased that Fedor will have the opportunity to continue his career at Creighton. He’s an outstanding student, teammate and leader whose best days are ahead of him,” said Creighton head coach Greg McDermott.
