Michigan Wolverines basketball has three former players that are expected to compete in the 2025 NBA Summer League, which begins July 5 in San Francisco. Here’s a breakdown.
Hunter Dickinson, New Orleans Pelicans
Former Michigan center Hunter Dickinson spent the final two seasons of his college career at Kansas, but he left a strong legacy with the Wolverines, becoming one of 11 players in program history to earn first-team All-Big Ten honors in multiple seasons and helping the team win five NCAA Tournament games.
The 7-foot-2 big man signed a two-way deal with the Pelicans after going undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft.

Vladislav Goldin, Miami Heat
Vladislav Goldin — who spent his college career at three schools, Texas Tech (2020-21), Florida Atlantic (2021-24) and Michigan (2024-25) — didn’t get drafted this summer but was picked up on a two-way contract immediately following the event. The Wolverines’ leading scorer last season has a great chance to prove himself during upcoming games, with the Heat set to begin play July 5 in San Francisco, before traveling to Las Vegas July 11.

Danny Wolf, Brooklyn Nets
Danny Wolf was chosen No. 27 overall by the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft following one season at Michigan (2024-25) and two at Yale (2022-24), and Summer League will give him a chance to separate himself. After all, Wolf was the fifth of as many first-round picks for the organization, but the only big man in that group.
