The Orlando Magic are building on their promising Eastern Conference campaign by bolstering both their starting lineup and bench depth. The front office with new incoming players is also taking care of keeping the current roster intact on the brighter side.
Shams Charania reports that Moe Wagner has signed a one-year deal to remain with the Orlando Magic. This comes after Wagner’s current contract which was signed in 2023 worth $22 million came to an end. Coming off the bench, the power forward has been effective for Magic.
He averaged 12.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists with a field goal percentage of 56.2. Wagner managed to produce those numbers in just 18.8 minutes per game, showcasing high efficiency off the bench. The Magic have added value to their roster by resigning Moe Wagner.

Wagner’s agent, Jason Glushon, finalized the new deal with the Orlando front office late Thursday afternoon. The new contract, effective from the 2025–26 NBA season, is valued at $5 million. He also has a no trade clause in his contract indicating he will spend a full season with the Magic.
Penda, Richardson Officially Join Magic Roster
The Orlando Magic also completed procedures with their rookie picks and officially signed contracts on Friday. Pick no. 32, Noah Penda signed a guaranteed 2 year deal with a non-guaranteed third year and fourth year being a team option.
The French forward is regarded as a high-upside prospect by the Magic’s front office, especially for his defensive instincts. Coming from the European League, Penda was named LNB Pro A Best Young Player last season where he averaged 10.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.4 steals on 44.7% shooting from the field in 30 games.
Penda has the size and ranks highly in rebounding. Head coach Jamahl Mosley now has another promising perimeter defender to deploy within his rotational plans and develop further. Jase Richardson, the 25th pick, has signed a guaranteed two-year contract, with the following two seasons included as team options.
