BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) –
Fairmont Senior High School graduate and former WVU Men’s Basketball player Jalen Bridges has signed to the Boston Celtics’ Summer League roster.
According to The Athletic, Bridges, a Fairmont native, was added to the Celtics’ Summer League roster on Wednesday.
He will also attend the team’s fall camp, giving him an opportunity to make the team’s final roster before next season.
Jay King, a Boston Celtics reporter for The Athletic, posted this on X:
Jalen Bridges has been added to the Celtics summer league roster, I’ve been told, and will be going to camp with the team in the fall with a chance to make the roster. He played for Phoenix on a two-way contract as a rookie.

Bridges just finished his first season in the NBA after playing two years at WVU.
He completed his college basketball career at Baylor and went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft.
For the Phoenix Suns last season, Bridges averaged 3.8 minutes per game and shot 28.6% from the field.
