Former Oregon Ducks combo guard Keeshawn Barthelemy went undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft but was signed by the nearby Portland Trail Blazers for the NBA Summer League, giving him a shot to prove he can play at the highest level.

Barthelemy, a four-star prospect out of Ontario, Canada, began his college career with the Colorado Buffaloes for two seasons before transferring to Oregon for his final three years.

Largely a contributor off the bench with the Ducks, Barthelemy proved himself to be a reliable shot-maker, specializing from beyond the arc. In his fifth-year senior season, he averaged 10.0 points, 2.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game on 42.6% shooting from the field and an exceptional 41.4% from three-point range. He knocked down nearly two triples per game.

The NBA Summer League, played primarily in Las Vegas, NV, is a proving ground for NBA-level talent featuring rookies and other talented prospects trying to earn a G League or standard contract. Overseas scouts also take in the action.

On the Trail Blazers’ squad, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Barthelemy will compete for minutes with the likes of James Bouknight (2021 lottery pick), Caleb Love (Arizona Wildcats) and Sean Pedulla (Ole Miss Rebels) among several others. He’ll also play with Portland’s 2025 first-round pick, center Yang Hansen.

The Trail Blazers will play a guaranteed five games, beginning on July 11 at 8:00 p.m. (PST) against the Golden State Warriors and followed by contests on July 12th, 15th, 17th and a final consolation or playoff game.

Barthelemy joins fellow guard TJ Bamba from the 2024-25 edition of the Ducks competing in summer league. Bamba will suit up for the Brooklyn Nets.
