Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future with the Milwaukee Bucks has been a huge topic of discussion since the team lost in the first round to the Indiana Pacers.
Shams Charania reported that the 30-year-old was looking at the possibility of moving away from Milwaukee and since then a lot of rumors have been making rounds.
As soon as the free agency opened, the Milwaukee Bucks showed their intent to keep Giannis Antetokounmpo as they brought Myles Turner, on a four-year $107 million deal.
To follow it up, they decided to waive All-Star guard Damian Lillard to facilitate the move for Turner and also free some cap space.
However, a lot of teams are still looking at ways they can entice Antetokounmpo and an NBA expert thinks the Houston Rockets could win the sweepstakes.

The Rockets made the big splash by bringing Kevin Durant to the roster, while also adding players like Clint Capela and Dorian Finney-Smith.
The franchise started their offseason operations by extending the contract of head coach Ime Udoka, and since then have been active in the market.
However, NBA expert Collin Cowherd believes that this won’t be enough to win the title and the team would end up trading for Antetokounmpo.
Speaking on his show, he said: “KD-Sengun-Amen Thompson don’t win, they don’t even get to the Finals and KD is one year older.
“And then Houston says, ‘Okay we’re going for it.’ Sengun an All-Star for Giannis, Jabari Smith, who’s gonna back up KD this year and five unprotected first-round picks and maybe a deep bench rotational player.
“Now it’s KD, Amen Thompson, Giannis and other young guys.”
Milwaukee could end up losing Antetokounmpo
Antetokounmpo has achieved a lot of success with the Bucks since being drafted by them in 2013.
Having delivered a championship in 2021, there were expectations the Bucks would continue building to be contenders for years to come.
However, they have failed to put a good roster around Antetokounmpo since the championship victory.
Despite the lack of talent, Antetokounmpo has done extremely well and has averaged 30 points in the last three seasons.
While the team have made efforts to put a few good players around him, the Bucks just don’t have enough talent to compete against the other sides in the league.
Many have chimed in with their thoughts on Antetokounmpo moving from the Bucks, but the player wants to end his career in Milwaukee.
He has expressed his desire to be a one-franchise player, but also to win a few more championships.
That seems unlikely in Milwaukee and while he is still in his prime, the player could soon understand that and make his way out.

The Rockets seem like a great option as they have a lot of young talent they could package for Antetokounmpo.
Teaming up with a player like Durant would be great for the Greek Freak.
It will give him the support he needs to excel and the duo would instantly make Houston favorites to win it all.
