Peavy found a groove offensively with the Hoyas but where he shines best is defense, where he averaged 2 steals per game.
Per his NBA Draft prospect profile, he excels defensively via his length and anticipation.
Peavy embraces his role as an aggressive defender and Summer League head coach, Corey Brewer, agrees.
“Micah is aggressive and playing hard and being the defender that he said he was”, says Brewer. He said, I like to defend and he’s showing that he likes to defend, so he’s been great for me.”
“A lot of guys don’t like playing defense and I love it”, says Peavy. “I don’t like getting scored, I don’t like the other team getting buckets so I like to take pride in that and get some stops.”
