While NBA free agency is crawling along, the 2025 Summer League is right around the corner. The Sacramento Kings have already announced their full roster, led by head coach Dipesh Mistry.

While returning players and drafted rookies highlight the roster, undrafted defensive big Dylan Cardwell signed a two-way deal.

A league source told Sactown Sports that Isaiah Stevens, a rostered guard, will also be signing a two-way contract with the Kings.

Per sources, the Sacramento Kings plan to have Dylan Cardwell and Isaiah Stevens on two-way contacts next season.

The six-foot guard spent last season on the Miami Heat after going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft — Stevens spent most of his time in the G-League.

In 33 games played with Sioux Falls, he averaged 12.8 points, 9.3 assists, and 3.2 rebounds, converting 45.1 percent from the field and 31.4 percent from three.

His 306 assists were the most in a G-League season since 2014-15. Miami didn’t re-sign Stevens after awarding him a two-way midway through his rookie season.

Before going undrafted, the 24-year-old played four seasons at Colorado State.

Sacramento’s 2025 first-round pick, Nique Clifford, was around for Stevens’ senior campaign.

“It’s really cool. Full circle,” Clifford said after the Kings’ first Summer League practice on Monday. “I’ve known him since high school. Him and David Roddy kind of recruited me. They were my hosts when I visited (Colorado State) out of high school.”

“It’s super cool to be here with him together. That was my guy in college, the year before last. So, super cool and glad that he’s here.”

They’ll get the chance to share the floor together again, this time in royal purple Summer League units, as Sacramento start their 2025 Summer League journey in Las Vegas later this week.

The Sacramento Kings will descend upon the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League this week, as fans will be able to get their first look at rookie wing Nique Clifford and center Maxime Raynaud.

Clifford, the 24th overall pick in last month’s 2025 NBA Draft, and Raynaud, the 42nd pick, will be joined by several familiar faces–some who suited up in regular-season games for the Kings last season.

Reigning NBA G League Finals MVP Mason Jones is on the roster, as is Sacramento forward Isaac Jones, who recently had his 2025-26 team option picked up by new general manager Scott Perry.
