The team you saw on the court this past season will look entirely different than what you see this winter/spring. The Saints lost their top-three scorers to either graduation (Ahniysha Jackson, Anajah Brown) or the transfer portal (Teresa Seppala). Only one returner saw significant playing time this past year (Zyriah Price). Many others transferred out of the program, so this Saints group had a roster overhaul.
11 new faces will be joining the Siena WBB team for the 2025-26 campaign, some as freshman and others as transfers with loads of Division I experience. Many would see a roster overhaul like this as a steep mountain to climb to building a competitive team but Coach Primm and company have the utmost confidence that if they trust the process, get better by one-percent each day and stay healthy, they’ll be right where they want to be come MAAC Tournament time.
Siena is coming off a (17-14) campaign in the 2024-25 season which saw the Saints fall in the MAAC Quarterfinals and get a first round exit from the WNIT. In just a few months, This new-look group will begin a quest to bring home their first MAAC Championship since 2001.
