What’s different about the Giannis Antetokounmpo situation this offseason? Jim Owczarski discusses next moves for the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Milwaukee Bucks officially announced the re-signing of center Jericho Sims on July 9, as the 26-year-old is returning on a two-year, veteran minimum deal. The second year is a player option.

Sims played 14 games for the Bucks last season after being acquired from the New York Knicks at the trade deadline, and he averaged 4.9 points per game. He missed the last four weeks of the regular season due to thumb surgery, however, but returned for the playoffs.

In the postseason Sims played just under 12 minutes per game in all five contests against the Indiana Pacers.

Sims was the No. 58 pick by the Knicks in the 2021 draft.
