CHICAGO (WGNO) — The New Orleans Pelicans will have the seventh overall pick in the 2025 Draft after Monday’s NBA Draft Lottery.
The Pelicans had a 48 percent chance to land a top-four pick and a 12.5 percent chance to land the number one overall pick.

Instead, the Pelicans will draft behind the Dallas Mavericks, who landed the top pick in the Cooper Flagg sweepstakes, the Spurs, the 76ers, the Hornets, the Jazz, and the Wizards.
Zion Williamson and Executive VP of Basketball Operations, Joe Dumars, represented the Pelicans in Chicago Monday night.
The 2025 NBA Draft runs June 25 and 26 on WGNO and ABC affiliates.
