LARAMIE — Former Wyoming guard Hunter Maldonado will play for the Eastern Conference Champion Indiana Pacers in the NBA Summer League starting on Thursday in Las Vegas.

Last season, he played for MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg in the German BBL. He averaged 10 points per game along with 4.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He averaged 8.6 points per game in the FIBA Europe Cup in 12 games.
In 2023-24, Maldonado played with the Oklahoma City Blue of the G-League, helping lead his team to a championship. He added six rebounds and three assists in the Thunder’s opener against Toronto. Last season in the G-League, Maldonado added 11.9 points per game with 4.7 rebounds along with 4.9 assists per game.
In last season’s NBA Summer League, he added eight points per game and 3.4 assists per night playing for Oklahoma City.
