The showcase has become a key part of the NBA offseason calendar, with new draft picks and young players fighting for roles and spots on NBA rosters.
The NBA Summer League in Las Vegas runs July 10-20. Several former Colorado State players are expected to participate.
Nique Clifford (Sacramento Kings) and John Tonje (Utah Jazz) were selections in the recent 2025 NBA draft and could make their unofficial NBA debut in Las Vegas. Former CSU star Isaiah Stevens is on the Sacramento Kings with Clifford after Stevens was signed to a two-way deal with Sacramento.
Former CSU star David Roddy was traded from Houston to Atlanta but shortly after was waived by the Hawks and is currently not signed.

Clifford and Stevens are on the summer roster for the Sacramento Kings. Here is the schedule for Sacramento:
Thursday, July 10: Kings vs. Magic, 5:30 p.m., NBA TV/ESPN+Saturday, July 12: Kings vs. Bulls, 6 p.m., NBA TV/ESPN+Monday, July 14: Kings vs. Suns, 8 p.m., ESPNU/ESPN+Wednesday, July 16: Kings vs. Cavaliers, 1:30 p.m., ESPN2/ESPN+

After each team’s first four games, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs and participate in the semifinals on July 19. The two winning teams from the semifinals will meet on July 20 for the championship. The 26 teams that do not advance to the playoffs will play a fifth game on either July 18 or July 19.
